Star Screeners Provide Fast Efficient Screening
Star screeners are the best screen available for screening composted biosolids and other composted materials. They are also used to screen topsoil, remove sticks and roots in peat handling operations, and to remove soil from carrots, beets, onions and bulbs. Star screens can screen material to 3/16" up to 3/4" or larger, depending on the spacing and the type of stars used.
Superscreen star screeners range in size from 25 cubic yard per hour capacity up to 1000 cubic yards per hour. Star screen decks range in width from 28" up to 70" and lengths from 8' up to 30'. The screeners can be powered with electric motors, or hydraulic motors.
Discharge hoppers and conveyors, and complete mobile units are available.
Star screeners are also excellent for plastics removal as well, where vaccuum systems can be located on top of the star screener deck, removing plastic as it floats across the screen.
